The hamlet of Mola is characterized by the mighty cylindrical tower, remnant, along with a few other structures, late medieval castle, almost completely destroyed by bombing in World War II. Characteristic the entrance portal, which recreates the architectural taste of Roman triumphal arches.
Alongside the Castle, along the characteristic via Abate Tosti, formerly via Tullia, stood the Church ' binavata ' dei Santi Lorenzo and Giovanni who kept a painting by Antoniazzo Romano, saved and recently restored and preserved at the new Church of San Giovanni Battista in conjunction with precious Simulacra of Santi Lorenzo and Giovanni, the latter appointed (by the end of the 30 's of the last century), patron of the city of Formia with s. Erasmo. Few but significant remains of the Roman aqueduct whose arches survivors are trying gradually to subtract the degradation into which they had sunk in recent decades. The village is in party mood, on June 24, for the procession of Saint John and, in August, for the recognition in San Lorenzo, the patron saint of Mola even before you lay the cult for the Baptist.
